Welcome to a beginner's course (weekend course) in Brazilian Zouk with Jimmy & Camilla!
This course is for you who are interested in dancing with presence, feeling, and musicality – whether you have danced before or are a beginner.
Zouk is a partner dance that has developed in Brazil with roots from Lambada and has influences from many other dances. It can be danced to many different types of music styles and is rapidly increasing in popularity worldwide. Zouk is very much about connection, flow, feeling, and musicality and is a fantastically fun dance that allows for a lot of personal style and creative expression for both leaders and followers.
For whom:
* for you who are curious about Zouk or for you who have danced Zouk before and want to get started again.
* for you who dance other dances and want to expand your dance knowledge.
* for you who dance Zouk and want to review and deepen the basics
* for you who enjoy the joy of dancing.
Course content:
The character of the dance, basic steps, rhythm, connection, basic figures, and musicality.

About us:
We regularly attend courses/events abroad/in Sweden and train via online courses at home and participate in BRIC Dance Academy’s training in Zouk with Bruno & Raiza, which is in three stages (online combined with in-person in different countries) that is an advanced training in Zouk technique.
We have extensive experience in teaching dance and have held/are holding courses in modern fox in many places in Sweden and have danced together for over 20 years.
During the spring of 2026, we had a beginner's course and a level 2 course in Zouk.
We think it is fantastically fun to be part of and contribute to a Zouk community in Sundsvall. Join us too!

No prerequisites are required. We will start from the beginning.

Admission:
We start admission when we have enough participants.
We strive for an even distribution of leaders and followers. Solo registrants are paired up in order. We rotate in a circle during the lessons. When you have been accepted, you will receive a confirmation and payment instructions via email.
The payment recipient is Mediform Sundsvall AB.
The course fee must be paid within 14 days from admission to secure your place in the course. See the booking conditions for rules regarding the right of withdrawal and refunds.
